Your reading life, remembered.

Talekeeper is a home for every book you've loved: a shelf you arrange yourself, journals you make your own, and the lines you never want to lose.

Chapter one

Your shelf, your way.

Scan a book and it's home. Give it a colour, a sticker or your own cover, then make the bookcase yours with a reading lamp, a plant or a sleeping cat.

The Library screen: three wooden shelves labelled Currently reading, Read and Want to read, with a plant among the books.

Chapter two

Your page. Your rules.

Start with a blank page and make it anything. Add a cover, a rating, a line you loved and a photo from the night you finished it, on the paper that suits the book.

Chapter three

Every recommendation comes with a reason.

Talekeeper picks books from what you've actually read and tells you why: because you rated two literary novels highly, or because you're reading the first book in a series. Feeling lucky? Tap Surprise me.

The Discover screen: a Surprise me pick above a row of recommended books, each with its reason written underneath.

Chapter four

Keep the lines that stayed with you.

Save a quote with its page, write a note in the margin, and find it again in seconds. Or ask for a random quote, and meet an old favourite again.

Your notes, quotes and journals are private by default. Other readers only see what you choose to publish.

The Quotes screen: saved passages with their book, page number and tags, and a Random quote button.

Already keep your books somewhere else? Bring them with you.

Import your library from Goodreads, StoryGraph, Bookmory or any CSV file. And you can export your journal whenever you like.

Why I Built Talekeeper

I built Talekeeper because I believe reading deserves more than just finishing a book and moving on to the next one.

Every book leaves something behind. A thought that stays with you, a character you won't forget, a sentence you want to read again, or a feeling you can't quite put into words. I wanted a place where all those moments could live.

I wanted to create something that goes beyond tracking how many books you've read. A place where you can build your own library, keep your reading memories, collect meaningful quotes, write your thoughts, discover your next favorite book, and watch your reading journey grow over time.

Most importantly, I wanted reading to feel personal again. Not like a competition, not just another checklist, but an experience that belongs entirely to you.

That's why I built Talekeeper.

A home for your books, your thoughts, your stories, and all the little moments that make reading special.

Because books are meant to be read, but the memories they leave behind are worth keeping.
